Project ONBETAALBAAR

Multiple choice(s).

Discarded school chairs become multiple choice(s). Veerle Tytgat and ONBETAALBAAR are breathing new life into this classic.

Textile designer Veerle Tytgat knits ribbons in a random, colorful pattern. Sophie De Somere came across a series of discarded school chairs. Together they came up with a self-knitted upholstery for the well-known chairs.

Blended ribbons of recycled jeans yarn form a voluptuous whole. The legs are powder coated in bright colours. The result is multiple choice(s): an infinite choice in colour, fabric, legs and mutual combinations.
